At New Hope Community Church, we have a very simple strategy for worship: glorify God and make Him the center of our worship. Our services are designed to focus our attention on God, and not ourselves or the problems that clog our lives outside of church. At least for this time, we do what we were made to do--worship and glorify our Creator!
New Hope Community Church offers two Sunday morning worship services.
- Traditional Service, 9:00 a.m.
Our 9:00 a.m. service follows a traditional liturgy with a music program that concentrates on the great hymns of the faith. This is not to say that contemporary music is excluded, but the focus is definitely on traditional hymnody. Worship in song is led by our choral praise team which leads the congregation in a dynamic and interactive way. The teaching is scriptural and expository and seeks to discover the great truths of the Bible. Pastor Kirby firmly believes that the Bible is the most relevant book ever written and is God's "manual" for salvation, worship, and life. Come and see just how meaningful God's word can be to your life! The traditional service is attended by people of all ages. Some people wear coats and ties to this service, while others wear more casual attire including some jeans.
- Contemporary Service, 11:15 a.m.
Our contemporary service is the perfect blend of dynamic music and compelling teaching from God's word. The music is upbeat and vibrant, yet worshipful. The music is designed to help focus your attention on God--who alone is worthy of our worship and praise. Worship is led by our praise team who weekly remind us of God's grace in blessing his creation with those with great talent. The teaching is scriptural and expository and is extremely relevant to the myriad problems that plague the church and Christians today. Pastor Kirby always "brings the message home" with real-life applications that show how the Word of God is a living word and is sufficient for all our needs. The contemporary service is attended by people of all ages. Dress in the contemporary service is casual in typical South Florida style, with people wearing everything from suits to shorts. Come as you are and worship the Lord with us!
