The Flight of the Radiant Woman  (12 lessons)

A study in church history. From the time the "qahal" stood before Mount Sinai to the church of today, this study takes a detailed look at the great events of church history. Particular attention is paid to the way the church has fulfilled the prophecies of Scripture.

    Grounding the study of church history with an exposition of Rev. 12:1-6 and the idea of the Radiant woman. Since this image is a depiction of both the pre-Christ Messianic community, and the post-Christ New Testament church, it is a perfect passage to anchor our study of church history.

    Tracing the growth of the church throughout the New Testament. In this segment, specifically in John's book of the Revelation. We will concentrate on what the book says about the church as it existed on earth. At the end of the study we will return to Revelation to consider the eschatological church.

    12. The Church Age in Revelation (Rev. 5-12) 

    Tracing the growth of the church throughout the New Testament. In this segment, we will look at the church age as it is depicted in the book of the Revelation. John's great Apocalyptic vision is full of revelations about the church in the age of the Gospel (from Advent to Advent). The focus will be on the profound relationship between the persecution of the church by Satan and the protection of His church by Christ.
